I'm proud to be at the helm of Dealer Direct Supply. Some of the things I do here are sales, inter-business relations, vehicle purchasing, vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, repairs, and detailing. It’s a true joy to work here, and every day is a new adventure and challenge. I am proud to do what I do for our company. Growing up in the charming town of Carthage, Missouri, I was raised under the loving guidance of my single mother, Jamie Hatton. I learned the values of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. My formative years were marked by exploring the rugged beauty of the Ozarks and embracing a wide array of outdoor activities – from hiking and camping to boating and water sports! After graduating from McAuley Catholic High School in 2016, I set out to combine my love for automobiles with my passion for helping others. So my grandfather and I opened a used-car dealership in Carthage, MO, and that’s where I started my journey! From there, I continued on with automotive, but secured a full-time job in the IT industry until I had the resources to open another dealership of my own. At Dealer Direct Supply, I believe that we're not just selling cars. We're facilitating adventures, enabling you to explore the open road and create lasting memories with loved ones.

I manage marketing, sales, bookkeeping, and support general business needs here at Dealer Direct Supply. I enjoy every single day spent here, and find helping other to be some of the most fun and fruitful work. Some background on me, I was born and raised by Shane Hughes and Julie Sohosky Taylor in Joplin, MO. I spent 3 years in Eau Claire, WI, and moved back home to Joplin. I always enjoyed playing sports and partook in many things, such as Archery, Soccer, and Basketball. However, I excelled most at Wrestling and Football. I graduated from Joplin High School in 2017, and chose not to attend college, but instead pursue marketing and car sales as a career. A few things that are the forefront in my life are God, family, and friends. I always enjoy spending time doing things like cooking out, watching sports, attending church, or simple gatherings for various events. With family and friends, I thoroughly enjoy traveling and sightseeing as well. I have been to many places, such as a mission trip to El Higo, Veracruz, Mexico, the mountains of Denver, CO, beaches of Destin, FL, and even the castles and forts of Ireland. I enjoy many outdoor activities, as I am currently the Left-Tackle for the Joplin Crusaders. Some other outdoor activities I enjoy are kayaking, canoeing, hiking, ultimate frisbee, or swimming. When it comes to Dealer Direct Supply, I started this company with the help of my best friend, Taylor Lewis. Together we shared a dream, saved up our money, combined our intellectual abilities, left our day jobs, and made the giant leap into opening our own business. Without the undying support of our families, friends, customers, and especially God, our business would not be where it is today, and it is a debt that can never be repaid!

Sam Sturgis is a key member of our team, who brings a wealth of experience in business management, strategic marketing, and financial planning. With a strong family background in these fields, Sam joined us to mentor William Hughes and Taylor Lewis, guiding them in their mission to grow our company exponentially. Together, we share a common goal: To provide quality cars at fair prices in a market where many buyers feel taken advantage of.
